The classic rebranding ala facebook -> meta / insta, or food companies with their thousands of differently named subsidiaries.
I do dreaming spanish also, and some comprehensible input youtube channels for Chinese. It really is the best way to learn a language.
The active, hot, and scaled sort have that two day bump limit, but active uses the newest comment time for it’s algorithm, whereas hot uses the post creation time.
So the hot sort is better for new trending content, and active is better for topics with new comments.
We added the scaled sort to help with that(it gives a boost to less active communities), but I don’t know if many people are using it.
I hadn’t heard of that bug, could you link the github issue?
What does a flower or a blade of grass mean?
There’s a really good section on him in the book, How to hide an empire - a history of the greater united states.
Thx! This setting got added to the back-end, so other UI’s can benefit from it too.
What’s your user setting for show_score?
Its a bug for instances that haven’t updated to 0.19.4
yet.
Props to @rodrigo-fm and @mv-gh for all this work.
Just merged a fix for that, it’ll be in the next release (likely tmrw).
Could you open up an issue on the github for this (if you didn’t already).
Not sure if there’s anything we can do about this one, but open up an issue on the github.
That’s my bad really. Currently we’re using the patch semver to denote non-breaking changes, and the minor for breaking.
We’re holding off on a major release until the API reaches stable, which like all open source projects we’re reticent to do because then it puts a lot of pressure on us to match the standard of enterprise-level software developed by a large corporation.
Even though lemmy has many thousands of monthly active users, we’re still really an beta-level software developed by a handful of people.
Yes they’re smaller, and muted (unless you voted and it changes their color). This is done because there are 4 pieces of info you can display now in the new 0.19.4
release.
Tempo is pretty good.
Yep, major thanks to @asonix for adding this to pict-rs.
Bias confirmation. People have to justify their carnist consumption, and an easy way to do that is to claim the other side is equally unethical.
