Since its lowered pressure
This question is a perfect fit for the sub why all the downvotes?
Because, OP has dumb comments that dismiss the motive for asking.
Thats a bit much. I get I take some liberties here and there but thatz part of my process and exploring things. Im not afraid to ask things people consider silly and it pays off a lot so its all good
I dont care so much about downvotes or any of that, its more important for me that I feel like I can let my curiosity have the latitude to go where it may
Hi doctor here. Bradycardia refers specifically to slow heart rate. Typically less than 60 beats per minute.
Bradycardia is a physiological observation and doesn’t necessarily refer to a specific kind of feeling. Well conditioned athletes can have heart rates in the 40s and will feel completely asymptomatic. Pathological conditions such as heart block can cause slow heart rates and that can manifest as feeling dizzy, light headed or fainting.
As with everything, the answer is more complicated than the question.
There’s other variables at play.
Bradycardia is slow heart rate Hypotension is low blood pressure. Both can cause dizimess/fainting. Blood movement is how your brain gets oxygen.
Sorry thats what i meant, doesnt that technically mean you’re more relaxed tho?
Isnt low heart rate psychologically linked to states like meditation
No, your entire body not receiving oxygen is not as fun as you imagine. You may be thinking of receiving extra oxygen, which can be kind of fun in certain situations.
The effects of bradycardia are more like mild choking.
Imagine someone lightly choking you alll day.
Imagine someone lightly choking you alll day.
…and then what happens?
Bradycardia is not always that
Totes.
Amazing insight.
Totes
Wow, I haven’t heard that word in a LONG time.
My state discourages single use shopping bags. Most people call the recommended alternative some form of “reusable shopping bags” but I’ve heard them called “tote bags” and, indeed, even just “totes.”
I have bradycardia too. Mine is exercise induced. I used to be a sub elite runner, and my heart grew larger/stronger from running a lot. As a result of that, it pumps more blood per beat, and thus, beats slower for the same effect.
To me, bradycardia doesn’t feel like anything, because it’s not noticeably different from when I didn’t have it.
Edited Hypoxia can definitely be psychotropic
Nope
Can be. Can not be.
I have occasional episodes of low blood sugar which cause bradycardia. I don’t know if it’s quite the same for others but for me it’s basically as follows
My body goes into panic mode and I’m borderline dizzy and having a rough time trying to focus on anything
Trying to sit down to do breathing exercises or staring at the phone makes the thoughts race while not being able to latch on to any specific thought in particular
This can last up to 2 hours at times
Takes a while before I manage to put 2 and 2 together and balance my sugar (which in short order gets rid of the bradycardia after about 15 minutes)
Totally random aside but I wonder what it feels like to orgasm while bradycardic
Seems physiologically unlikely since the process to orgasm should cause a rise in heart rate.
I’m no doctor tho.
Bradycardia feels good, neutral, and bad. Bradycardia is a physiological symptom with many, many causes. You’re going to feel the influence of what’s causing the bradycardia, not the bradycardia itself.
Mine is fitness induced bradycardia, and to me, I don’t even notice it most of the time. It doesn’t feel like anything. The exception is sometimes, I get dizzy when standing up, which has historically been attributed to fitness induced bradycardia, but now they believe it’s specific to runners, and related to changes in the inner ear from running a lot
