you can reply from another accountCan confirm, this works!
Bear in mind Liftoff is probably going to stop working with Lemmy 0.19 so don’t get too attached to it 😢
Is the project actually dead or is this an assumption based on lack of recent updates? I’m using liftoff and have been wondering about its future.
A couple of people have tried to get in touch with the dev to no avail. It’s already broken for users on the couple of servers that are using 0.19 so only a matter of time for the rest of us, it seems.

There’s a thread in !liftoff@lemmy.world where people are recommending their fave replacement but tbh pretty much every app gets at least one mention, which one is best probably depends on your priorities!
None of them really meet all my needs (neither did Liftoff, I had to combine it with Summit), so I’m trying to help out by testing !raccoonforlemmy@lemmy.world in the hopes that it could become my holy grail.

Tried Jerboa again recently. Didn’t love it but I’ll probably check it out again at some point.
