How about stop absurdly proscribing peaceful protest as terrorism? Why isn’t that one on the list?
This could be part of shutting down the israeli lobby
Just what proportion of the list should be about Israel? It’s already 2/8 lol.
I think that one extends beyond Israel though.
Is resign on Day 100 on the list?
No, probably not, but interesting perspective.
If I were in government and I knew the PM only lasted something around 3-6 months, then I’d be back room planning what agendas to push in the legislature with each new PM. “Ok, Albert will be the fall guy for pension reform, Buddy the fall guy for healthcare reform, Colleen the fall gal for immigration reform…” ad infinitum until the public boots out the party in power.
And if I were a certain type of “the people” loving scrupulous party member, perhaps I’d jump ships when the new one set sail.
Not from the UK, and only have been loosely following this, but I thought it was between Nigel farrage and Count Bin-face with everyone else having withdrawn. Was that a different election?
lol that’s just a local race. Binface won’t be PM no matter what happens.
Never say never!
I still think he should become the new leader of Reform. You keep what you kill.
This was a leadership challenge that happened within Labour, the current ruling party. The showdown between Binface and Farage is for the Clacton by-election.
The Clacton by-election is to choose a member of parliament (MP) for that seat.
The seat became vacant because the current MP, Nigel Farage, resigned to pre-empt a parliamentary investigation into hs having accepted a £5M gift from a Thailand-based crypto billionaire and not having declared it. The resignation was a stunt. If Farage is reelected, the investigation will continue. Therefore, the other parties are boycotting the by-election, though Count Binface continues to run against Farage.
VOTE FOR THE COUNT: THE ONE WITH THE O.
I hope this clears things up.
Thank you for the explanation. I knew most of this, but was thinking it had to do with Starmer’s resignation, not Farrage’s. But, yes, it does really clear things up for me.
I have no idea why you’re being down voted for this. Seems like a genuine question from someone who wants to get a better understanding of a subject.
of course novara has zero mention about protecting trans people.
That is surprising given that they do have past and present trans contributors, including Shon Faye, Gemma Stone, and Helena NoJusticeMTG.
i think a couple of months ago michael walker went all transphobe defending terfs
Have you got a quote or reference for this?
A small group, many issues with wider relevance.
