    It did happen. I was the shooter. Honestly that thing terrifies me. I’m going to have to set a fire trap for it next time. Failing that, decapitation with a silver axe.

      The vessel is just a physical manifestation of “the channel”. His presence in our world is a collective hallucination brought on by the “videos” burning his horrifying grimace into our minds. To truly kill the beast you must destroy his true body in the digital plane.
