We get them a lot. Haven’t seen Reform yet, though, their chances in our ward are close to nil. Did meet the Tory candidate, she doesn’t stand a cat’s chance in hell either. If her party’s policies weren’t so odious, I’d feel sorry for her. I told her I’d never vote for her party. I already knew the Green canvassers from the pub, and I see the Labour people trying to hand out leaflets in the city centre now and then. They’re typical municpal Labour centrists in the pockets of developers and high-street businesses. The Reform candidate is yet another racist ratbag with no discernible local ties, though I might have seen him a few months ago in the small bused-in crowd that was trying to stir up shit in the city centre, only to leave soon after due to a many times larger counter-demonstration. It could have gone worse for them: some of the local shopkeepers had stockpiled bricks on their roof, just in case things kicked off. Don’t attempt racist violence against Romanians, Kurds and Turks, they fight back.
I’m likely voting Labour (swing county), but I want the door to door campaigners to know that I’m voting Green, just to rattle them a little
Wouldn’t that make you a Shy Red Tory?
Until FPTP is abolished, I still have to vote tactically to keep Reform out.
I’m not a WASP, and my love of the Greens is outweighed by my fear of Farage. Call me whatever you like.
I thought such things were a myth. Never seen a doorstepper before.

There’s a whole song about them from the 90s and how one of them was a murderer. Yup they existed.
