Insane. And at the same time popheads were cancelling Chappell Roan for doing literally nothing, and confidently calling Melanie Martinez “rapist” for questionable and contradictive allegations which didn’t even get to the police
There really wasn’t a lot of coverage considering the severity of the crime so I’ll give people a pass for not knowing. Hell, I was a fan until the murder. I didn’t know he was dating a kid.
But really this is a failing of the police who had known about it long before the murder. Or at least they should have known because D4VD’s fans reported it - with pictures and recordings from his livestream.

crazy. i cant believe this dude was dating a 13 year old and then killed her. he was playing concerts while she rotted away. wtf

Also, important to note they always say she was 14, she went missing at 13 and would have turned 14 I think just a few days before they found her in his trunk. And I believe they were “together” for years, with her even appearing on Livestreams and viewers pointing out how young she was.
There was so many warning signs that could have prevented this.
But it’s weird every article ages her up just a little bit

Most definitely. I figure this is most people’s first exposure to this guy. It’s unsurprising, to say the least. RIP poor girl.
