    I find this very unsettling.
    Being a chad, or using AI to make someone look like a chad is just too many levels of body image issues and body shaming - while including a margin of people who are nothing to do with this.
    These guys don’t need this crap - they are more than enough and to use the bad joke of this post: chad enough without this crap.

      You could argue doing it to protect your identity, but in this case it’s not for that

      I hate to see a imagine the genders reversed, but imagine the genders reversed. It changed their skin tones, their face shapes, they’re unrecognisable. So what would it do to women? I shudder to think.

        The thing is that I do get the joke. But it is just wrong.
        These young boys (showing my age here) are attractive enough. They all are above the “average” looks - and someone still felt like making them “ubermacho” “gigachad” using AI. If it would have been a hand drawn line art comic - I can get behind that 100%.

        Most reasonable people should see this as a harmless meme, regardless if they find it funny or just plain dumb.

        Anybody deeply offended by this is terminally online or mentally unwell. Likely both.

            Do you know how many racist and abusive memes exist? Existence doesn’t make them okay.
            And if you think because this joke isn’t “as bad” and “doesn’t hurt anyon”, these guys facing a very hard time right now.
            But the moment someone doesn’t like your joke… Just look how many comments you replied with defensiveness. You didn’t even make it and defending it with active attention.

      This is actually a decent, reasonable use for the technology as far as I can see.

      I’m not a fan, but touching up images is one thing AI seems to be really good at.
