I can’t imagine what it’s like to be trans but I can imagine what it’s like to be part of a small, persecuted minority. They’re not asking for much, quite frankly nothing at all that affects me directly, so I’m feeling especially generous. I’ve never been to a trans story hour but you know who you don’t want reading to kids? My boring ass.
