“hear me though” posts selectively pick some features of otherwise scary or weird people. Pyramid head is muscular, slender but not skinny and tall. If you ignore the blood he’s just an conventionally attractive person, some people are even into gore, you don’t even need to blank much.

I mean, I think multiple levels of hear me out can exist, it’s just funny to see people turn it in to a competition and then to slap down their entry and it’s just… the exact thing they were complaining about but gender swapped.

"Hear me out"s are generally fictional characters a person is attracted to (would like to fuck) but they feel they’d have to explain.
Like “No man, hear me out! The Stay Puft marshmellow man would be an incredibly sensitive lover, comfy to cuddle, and handy snack!” or something like that.
Pyramid Head (the dude pictured) is a monster from Silent Hill that rapes and butchers people. But from a purely appearance standpoint, it’s a conventionally attractive man with some weird head gear.
There’s been kind of an escalation in these as the internet has interneted, and some sort of weird pride about who goes weirder with it.
Like, “Cthulu as the unintelligible horror originally envisioned by Lovecraft? That’s a real hear me out. But L’neta, the big boobed anime babe version specifically designed to be Cthulu as a dating sim love interest? No. That’s intentionally created to turn it attractive.”
