The USA is 100% locked down by Israel.

Fuck Israel. Israel hates everyone that isn’t them, they want to kill or enslave us all.

I am not looking for people to reply to me I’m wondering why all these Israeli leaders saying “Only Israel matters” isn’t a bigger issue.

… I’m now remembering I’m not on Reddit and I can relax and not immediately jump into self defence mode.

Free Palestine, kill child predators and Nazis! Nice to not be on Reddit.

You just going to ignore June 2025 and October 2024 when Iranian rain was falling down on Tel Aviv?

Why is this argument with Israel always so one sided.

Hamas reenacts ww2 genocides, grandma’s stories came to live on that bodycam footage, nobody bats an eye. Israel responds and everyone yells 'genocide".

Iran bombs israel to literrally celebrate the butchering of 700 civilians a year prior. Israel escalates in response and here we are, blaming Israel for getting bombed first.

The US had to help Israel in October 2023 due to Israels own systems being overwhelmed and the US prevented a lot of death and destruction in Tel Aviv.

Ya’ll being played by propaganda from foreign not western forces. Breaking up the western alliances by causing internal turmoil because the people are easily influenced in their little bubbles.

I’ll put on my cynical hat, and assume Iran isn’t a perfect humanitarian state.

They are fighting a different war, they know if the US gets the slightest amount of public support it’ll be Iraq/Afghanistan all over again, while the US is bombing Iran, Iran is fighting the propaganda war, and they are doing amazing.

From the lego videos, to only hitting targets the US public don’t care/can’t complain. Like military bases, Amazon Data centers…

They only have to fight until next election cycle. And this extremely unpopular offensive will be over. and they might even get a friendlier US administration.

Trump is 100% losing this war.

Iran is not perfect, but they do have very strong convictions and their own conception of what it means to be a humanitarian state.

Iran never developed or used chemical weapons against Iraq, even when Iraq used it against them. Producing chemical weapons is easy and Iran could have easily done it hade they wanted to.

In the same vein, Iran could have had nuclear weapons had they not decided to ban weapons of mass destruction.

Chuck and Hakeem criticisms of the war is that it is not being run competently enough, when Trump had a stopped-clock-moment and signed the first peace deal, they and the rest of BlueMaga were saying TACO Trump.

I have no faith a Gavin Newsom presidency stops the war.

I would take “tens of thousands” with reserve. It would put casualty rate up there with Ukraine and Gaza war. And all this with small firearms vs 1000kg bombs in war.

Its hard to get anything resembling the truth because gov wants a clean image and protests were happening just before Israel/USA attack which had direct goal of toppling gov with these numbers as justification.

Estimates of 30,000-36,000 are based on testimony of medical workers, eyewitnesses who photographed piled bodies, and best estimates of international aid workers.

You are doing the work of the IRGC. They blacked out the internet for the entire country precisely to obscure what they were doing. Their goal was/is to control the narrative and ensure uncertainty. All this was months ahead of any major attacks by outside powers.

Your instinct that it would be/is an unthinkable atrocity is correct. Your instinct that it’s impossible flies in the face of history.

        • The Khmer Rouge killed nearly 1.4 million in Cambodia in less than 2 years, primarily with guns (which doesn’t include perhaps a million more due to starvation, etc.)

        • 1.5 - 2 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust by bullets in Eastern Europe (not including 4 - 4.5 million more killed in death camps, etc.). Many of these were single incidents over days in which tens of thousands were killed, such as Babi Yar and Kamianets-Podilsky.

        • Over 500,000 Tutsis were killed in Rwanda, primarily by guns over about 100 days.

Iran is a country of 90 million people. Evidence from multiple sources affirms the estimates of 30,000-36,000+ killed in January protests.

I wonder what Iran would be like if it still had its democratic government before the U.S. and U.K. orchestrated a coup in 1953 that installed the Shah for the crime of nationalizing their oil industry. Iran was on a path to democracy and the US undid that and installed an authoritarian leader.

Right, but the people running Iran right now are the result of the US interfering explicitly to combat Iran’s socialization of their oil. Which reflexively led to the Iranian Revolution and the current Islamic Republic. The current regime would not exist without US interference. Al Gore and Bernie Sanders suffered domestic interference, not foreign.

They tried that already. Where did it get them?

If you think the US would lay off the attacks at all if Iran was more democratic, you’re delusional. The last thing the US wants is for it’s prospective resource colonies to be democratic. Because democracies tend to insist on getting a fair deal for their resources so they can reinvest the money on development. Far better to install a military dictatorship that depends on foreign backing and in turn suppresses the people into compliance, while the colonizer steals their resources. Which is exactly the system the US installed in Iran and kept around for decades.

At this point, the US mostly just wants Iranians to suffer (assuming subjugating them again isn’t on the table), because they had the audacity to overthrow their puppet and they don’t want any other colonies getting any ideas.

Sorry, but this is a false equivalence.

Of course things are terrible inside Iran, especially for women. However. This is about each country’s military strategy.

If you want to whataboutism into “but look at their human rights for their own people”, I will gladly send you here and there for a moment of pause and reflection.

And yes Iran is strategecally far superior in the way they are playing this, but if you think that through, you will understand that Donny and Benji are providing a perfect external threat to Iran, bolstering the perceived need for a ‘protector’ in the from of the IRG.

This zionist war is helping Iran to keep it’s status quo, rather than letting the people continue the beginnings of a groundswell movement which was beginning to take place right before the war.

Your wiki article far from unbiased, and you might want to take into account who’s been interfering for over half a century tool.

TLDR; don’t compare a theocracy vs a (kleptocracy + theocracy) and say one is better than the other. Go print a newspaper in Jerusalem with FREE PALESTINE as the headline, or go walk around freely as a hispanic looking person in any democratic state in the US.

They’re both barbarians, if by barbaric you mean “murders civilians”.

Iran has murdered a lot of their own people though, let’s not be silly.

I wouldn’t say the USA is “better”, but I’d wager that the US kills less of its own citizens per capita. We generally don’t murder thousands of protestors at a time, instead it’s a respectable dozen or so.

The reason that they have only hit military bases is that their missiles have a limited range, they’d certainly hit the mainland if their missiles were capable of it. I can’t tell if this is a joke or not, but no.

I think that we shouldn’t even have a single military base there, but we decided long ago to maintain a presence in the Middle East for various strategic reasons, so we founded Israel and built a bunch of bases and sent weapons to everyone in the region to keep them busy killing each other. We appear to be irreversibly committed, by “we” I mean whomever is in charge of our world-wide ambitions.

    (Just kidding, it’s JP Morgan)
